Our Paavai Polytechnic College Men’s Ball Badminton Team came out as winners in IPAA State Level Ball Badminton tournament in 3rd consecutive year held at Excel Polytechnic College, Kumarapalayam on 03.01.2018.  
Our Paavai Polytechnic College Men’s Basket Ball Team came out as winners in IPAA State Level Basket Ball tournament in 8th consecutive year held at Shanmuga Polytechnic College, Tanjore on 14.12.2017 to 15.12.2017.  
Our Paavai Polytechnic College Basketball Men team won first place in IPAA Salem Division Basketball tournament held at Paavai Polytechnic College, Pachal on 07.12.2017. They won the tournament consecutively for the 8th year. Also they are selected to participate the IPAA State level Tournament will be held at Shanmuga Polytechnic College, Tanjore.  
Our Paavai Polytechnic College student Selvan.G.Gokulnath Rao of III-DAE has represented to Tamilnadu Ball Badminton team for 63rd Junior National Ball Badminton Tournament held at Karnataka from 06.10.2017 to 09.10.2017.
