Students Achievements

  • Texas innovation contest was held in IIT-Madras. In that contest our student Aswin c. venu was awarded with the best Student innovation award in 2014.
  • K.Baskar M.E., (Ph.D.) Assistant Professor from the department of ECE received faculty mentor award for the year 2018-2019 from Texas instruments, Bangalore.
  • Sahaya sheela M.E.,(Ph.D.) Associate Professor and Head from the department of ECE received faculty mentor award from Aeroship Creators, Coimbatore
  • One of our students S.Priyanka of third year ECE got internship through AICTE-Margadarshan Scheme in NIT.
  • Kavimalini, M.Priya and S. Ramya Krishnan of batch 2015-2019 were selected for the internship in Kyungshin Industrial Motherson Private Ltd Company.
  • Mahalakshmi and P.Priyadharshini of batch 2015-2019 were selected for the internship in Focus Geospatial Pvt Ltd. Bengaluru
  • Nalina Priya of batch 2017-2021 was selected for the   internship in Plunes Technologies Pvt Ltd.
  • Kavibharathi of batch 2017-2021 was selected for the internship in Huntsends,Noida
  • M.Manikandan of batch 2017-2021 was selected for the internship in India Redefined, Mumbai. 
  • G.Sakthivel of batch  2017-2021 has been selected as Internshala  student partner IIM Bengaluru.
  • Our Department has produced 6 university ranks in the last two years.
  • In the Texas Instruments Challenge Contest 2015, out of 20250 teams of all the Engineering Colleges in India, 2500 teams were selected. Among them, 5 teams from our department were selected for the quarter finals and received USD 150 and one project was selected for the semifinal round and was awarded with USD 200.
  •  Our student Aswin C. Venu of 2011-2015 batch was selected for a 6 month Internship in TIFAC, New Delhi, as one among the seven out of 50,000 students.
  •  Our student R.Ramesh of 2013-2016 batch has won the Webench Design Contest 2015 conducted by Texas Instruments Bangalore throughout India Our  student S.Nandish has attended the internship in VJ Networks Pvt Ltd Chennai for a 2 month internship program between 1st July to 30th August 2016
  •  S.Mahalakshmi, U.Meyyammai and R.S.Nivetha our final year students of 2013-2017 batch have been shortlisted for the Internship in Fourth Frontier a startup biomedical based company
  •  S.Rajadurai and S.Nandish our final year students of 2013-2017 batches have been shortlisted for the Internship in Bon Aps Pvt ltd, a Live streaming company.
  • The project done by our students titled “Power Generation and wireless monitoring system for wastages in Trash can” has won 13 first prizes and 7 second prizes and the paper has grabbed the best paper award in various reputed institutions.
  • Our Department maintains a consistent record of 80% Placement in various companies
  • Project proposal “Tejas EEG Data Acquisition System” worth of Rs.7.50 lakhs has been accepted for the Third level of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
  •  4 of our students were selected as the Microsoft Student partners.
  •  Our Student S.Vignesh has participated in Intel Idea Contest and won PC tab worth of Rs.40,000/-.
  •  All the faculty members are fluent in English and they have received the Business English Certificate from University of Cambridge, London.
  • 4 Projects have been submitted for TI Innovation Challenge Contest 2016.
  • 3 Project teams from our ECE Department have gone through the finals in the e-Governance project contest 2016
  • Our student Aswin C. Venu was selected for Internship from FOSSEE (Free & Open Source Software for Education), IIT Bombay and was awarded with a stipend of Rs.10000.
