A program was conducted for our PPC staff on 31.08.2024, led by Mr. T.S. Gowtham, Principal of Paavai Polytechnic College. He delivered a session on “Responsibilities of Staff and HODs.”
In this program, he clarified and emphasized the roles and responsibilities of staff and Heads of Departments (HODs) in achieving the college’s goals. He outlined key tasks for staff, including maintaining class log books and subject log books, ensuring proper documentation, updating subject knowledge daily, and upholding discipline and staff responsibilities. Additionally, he stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in classrooms and labs, improving practical knowledge for handling subjects, and observing the activities of the HOD.
Finally, Mr. Gowtham shared his personal experiences in managing students and maintaining responsibility within the college. The session was interactive and helped broaden the staff’s perspectives.
