A guest lecture programme was organized by the Computer Engineering Association of Paavai Polytechnic College for the second and third year students on 05.01.2019. Mrs. S. Sumathi Principal of Paavai Polytechnic College had inaugurated the guest lecture program and it was started with the Prayer Song by our Second year girls. After the prayer song, the Welcome Address was delivered by our Final year student R. Sowndaryalakshmi. Our Final year student M. Chezhian introduced the chief guest to the gathering. The Chief Guest Prof. P. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science Engineering, Paavai College of Engineering had delivered an elaborate lecture on “MOBILE COMPUTING”. In his lecture, he explained about the concept of mobile communication and the process of various types of accessing the data using mobiles. Based on that he clarified the details about mobile communication, mobile hardware and mobile software. At the end he clarified the doubts raised by the students and also motivated the students about the role of Computer Engineer. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by our Final year Student R. Swathy. At last, the program was ended with the National Anthem.
