PAAVAI POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE

  ANNUAL REPORT 2023-2024

• The Classes for II and III Year Students reopened on 12.6.2023.
• On 6.2023,” Yoga Day “ celebration held at PCE Ground
• On 7.7.2023, First Year Inauguration held at Pragati Hall,PCE
• Goal Setting Session on topics “Review & Re-view” has been taken by our Chairman Sir at TATA Hall, PCT on 8.8.2023.
• On 9.8.2023, Office Bearer Inauguration held at Anandha Arangam.
• On 15.08.2023,Our PPC students participated in 76^th Independence Day celebration and Winners received the certificates in the Function of various.
• On 2.11.2023, Our PPC conducted the “ GRADUATION DAY” for Alumni students.
• On 26.1.2024, Our PPC students participated in the various activities and got rewards in Republic Day.

SPORTS & GAMES

Besides Academic activities, our students have participated in various Tournaments in Divisional and State Level Competitions and won the Prizes.

• On 03.11.2023 American Basketball Players Mr. Varun Ram Ramasamy visited our college and met the basketball team Players.
• In IPAA Basket Ball Men Tournament is held at PSG College, Coimbatore. On 31.1.2024, Our Paavai Team won the Match in Finals.

         Our Paavai Team Continuously placed 9^th time.

• On 16.2.2024, Our Basketball Team won Second Prize at Open Tournament held at KSR Polytechnic College and Received 5,000 Cash Prize.

GUEST LECTURE

• On 4.8.2023, Computer Engineering Department has organised Seminar on “Python Programming Basic “ by Mr.M.Sundram, Assistant Professor, CSE/PEC.
• On 18.8.2023 , Students of Bio-Medical Department attended the Seminar on “MICRO CONTROLLER AND ITS APPLICATION” by Mr. Thennarasu, Asst/Professor, PCE.
• On 18.8.2023, Second & Third Year of Mechanical ,Automobile & Agri Department students visited the field near PMCH related to Bio Fuel Conversion and Equipments with the last Technology.
• On 19.8.2023, Green CAD (P) Tech LTD, Rasipuram has given a lecture on “2D Drafting Software & 3D Modelling “ for our Mechanical , Automobile & Agriculture students in Visveswaraya Hall.
• On 12.02.2024, Our PCE/ECE staff Mrs.C.Vanaja gives the Guest Lecturer about Industrial Electronics for EEE and ECE students at Visvesvaraya hall.
• On 16.02.2024, Our PCE/ECE Staff Mrs.Poongodi gave the Guest Lecture about Analog and Digital Electronics for EEE and ECE students at Visveswaraya Hall.
• From 14.02.2024 to 17.02.2024, Our PCE/ECE staff Mr.Jagadesh PEC/EEE gives the Guest Lecturer about E-Vehicle Technology and Policy for EEE and ECE students at Visvesvaraya hall.

PARENTS MEETING

In Our Polytechnic Campus We conducted the Parents meet on September month Discuss about their Academic , Higher studies and Job opportunity. Parents attended the meeting eagerly.

NSS

• On 19.12.2023, Our PPC 3^rd year student Mokka Deepthi participated Quiz competition “Basics of Computer science”, with score 100/100 conducted by Audhishankara College of Engineering and Technology at Andrapredesh. And won 1^st place and cash Pack Rupees 7000.
• Sakthi Polytechnic College conducted the Symposium on 21.2.2024 Our Agricultural Technology 9 Students were participated in Paper Presentation. Our student won  1^st place  and 3^rd in Paper Presentation with cash prize Rs.1000.
• On 08.02.2024, Our NSS team organized the Blood donation camp at Visveswaraya hall.
• On 17.02.2024, Our NSS team organized One day Trekking Trip Kaliyavardhaperumal Hill (first year students along with first year faculty members).

BOARD EXAMINATION RESULTS

      OCTOBER’23

• Our Second Year CSE student (Harikrishna .L) secured 682 out of 700 in Board Examination Oct-23.
• Our Third Year EEE student (Janani .L) secured 679

out of 700 in Board Examination Oct-23.

• Our Third Year EEE student ( Maheshwaran .C) secured 679 out of 700 in Board Examination Oct-23.

CAMPUS RECRUITMENT

                        Our Paavai Polytechnic College students attended the various Campus. Placement  Drive & the selected list is mentioned below.

 STAFF PARTICIPATION DETAILS

• Our Correspondent Madam gave the Motivation on 1 “Re-invent Paavai” to our PPC staff to achieve 100% admission on 13.7.2023.
• From 14.12.2023 to 15.12.2023, Our PPC staff K.Kokila lecturer of Mathematics participated in two day workshop on Teaching Applied Mathematics-1&2 using Geogebra Software organised by EIT Polytechnic College, Kavindapadi.
• On 24.1.2024, Our Mechanical Department staff N.Sathish Kumar attended the NSS Program at PSG Polytechnic college, Coimbatore.
• Our PPC Staff and Students Participated in Naan Mudhalavan Schemes on Various Topic.

CONCLUSION

• To conclude the academic year 2023-2024 sailed smooth with various activities being imprinted in its achievements. It is an ongoing process and each staff member has contributed towards the achievement of goals. We march with a great vision and we are truly optimistic in achieving it.
• My heartly thanks go to our Management who lend their helping hands at all moments. I thanks all the staff for their co-operation and service rendered to the Students community.
